Be careful as the speedo and sensor are matched pairs and have varied tremendously from car to car. They are not interchangeable. This means a 94 Chimaera speedo is unlikley to work with a 96. It probably will not work with a another 1994 either such were the changes.

No you can't easily adjust them or modify them. No you can't get the sensor and speedo and replace the lot necessarily as they rely on a slotted wheel which chnaged the number of slots.

In other words unless it is an exact replacement, you are wasting your money.

PS new ones are around £300. Recons considerably less.
Could also be the sensor as well. About £100-150 ish.
