So was shopping around today for a motor for the mother in law. Saw this on the forecourt at a local used car place for £34,999... First thoughts were WTF?!?! Second thought was what would drive someone to do that? Surely that's wiped a couple of grand off the resale value? I'd be embarrassed to have that on the forecourt...

There is one near me that is covered in stick-on plastic chrome bits, I think the owner thought he'd bought a PT Cruiser or something. I don't really get it myself either.
