Old film to DVD service?

Hi guys,
My grandad has found an old reel of 8mm film that was given to him by the BBC after they did a documentary on his sailing school back in the 60's or 70's.
He would like to get it converted to DVD so he can watch it. From what I have been told its 8mm film and has 7fps hand written on the side of the case.
Does anyone know of any companies that will convert this to digital? Cost ins't too much of an issue but he doesn't want to go mad lol.
