Get the tracking checked!!!!! You'd think that a brand new £100k sports car would be supplied set up just right wouldn't you. I was quietly disappointed with the feel of my V8VS but thought maybe it was just me in my post TVR period. Anyway £60 for a 4 wheel alignment check showed it to be out by a very small amount, but out nonetheless. To say the subsequent adjustment has transformed the car is am understatement and I am now a happy AM owner. Shouldn't happen though should it?

Is it the dealers responsibility to check this at the pre delivery inspection?

Shouldn't happen I agree, but I dare say it's not restricted to Aston though.

Unfortunately it's just another example of Astons mediocre quality control. The attention to detail is just unacceptable in this sector of the market. If they spent a bit more time focusing on internal issues and a bit less on the quality of the dealerships coffee, the cars might be a little better turned out. I'm on my 4th new car and I fear it's my last, I will be off to the enemy at Crewe next time.

I experienced exactly the same when I picked up my V12V last year.

That, and the wheels were out of balance too.

And the second most cost effective upgrade would be www.carlimits.com A lot of people don't seem to appreciate that the biggest failing is usually the nut behind the wheel.
