Another week, another accident....

Last week (well maybe a couple of weeks ago) it was an 'asian' van driver who hit me and then decided to f@ck off. After a little chase I stopped him, got his details, etc.
Bodyshop did a quote and sent him it, not heard anthing since.
I phoned him today, and said that if the bill is not settled or I don't have his insurance details by 12 noon the police will be involved (its only £230 ffs).

Then yesterday, I am hit by a woman who happens to be driving at 8pm without lights on. Front wing, suspension, wheel f@cked, etc, etc.
And to top it off when I spoke to her this morning it seems she may be 'changing' her story !!!

I really am cursed at the moment when it comes to driving cars ........

How much are jet-packs ???

Call the police every time, without exception. People will always spot the window of opportunity that occurs when both cars have left the scene.

Bad luck. definitely recommend a cheap runaround for day to day saving the 350 for weekends.

You can get Series III Landies with a thumping V8 a big bull bars fairly cheap... and they will always a style of their own

Getting 'witnesses' is easily done. But why should I have to ? BUT, having spoke to the woman this morning, it became obvious that her husband or insrurance company had mentioned that if she lied about the lights, then she would probably get of scott free.

We will see what the outcome is, but I do have her address, mobile/home phone numbers, so 'could' make her life hell.

SUV ? Looking into that as we speak (Volvo, Landrover or X5). No intention to sell the TVR though, although them 997S's look nice

Police ? Contacted them and was told that as long as thier was no injuries to either party, that they didn't care.

Oh, and by the way I was not in the TVR (still not repaired). Was in hire car.

Should get the 350 back friday, just in time for the bad weather

Hobo (dreading to think of what next years insurance premium will be).

I concur.

get a runabout

I got rear ended last night(no inuendo intended),leaving Manchester airport.

Glad I was in the Mundano...

Dumb t**t obviously missed the fact that all three lanes were stationary.

But then he was probably one of the dumb t**t's that knock back the complimentary Gin & Tonics for the duration of the flight, then get into their cars to drive home.
Wish police would randomly test everyone leaving T3 car park. They would have a field day.

The pompous t**t asked me why I called him a "F*****g Dumb T**T". I replied it was because he was a "F*****g Dumb T**T".

End of rant... aaaaagh

Geeze... it really is the month for it. Sorry to hear about everyone's accidents. Had a white van run me off the road (or rather, overtake leaving me with no road to use) two weeks ago, with a result of a shattered rear wheel, etc. Tw*t drove off. Spent two days fixing it just to have a lorry pull across into the same fricking corner of the car with 3 hours of me having it fixed. Had to block the dual carriageway with the car to stop him & all the witnesses driving off. Did a great job of blocking the A38 & M1 J28 for a long, LONG time while I got EVERYONE'S details going back about four cars in the queue just to make sure he didn't get away with this one. Sigh.

Think TVR should come up with an English version of the Hummer... bored out 6l AJP in the front, matching one in the back, and a body cut from a single steel billet.

Past caring when I get it back, but yes, should be today.

The reason it has taken so long is that the new T350's engine bay design is slightly different to the 2003 model, and therefore when the new bonnet came it simply would not fit.

I think they had to mess around with the radiator positioning & fans, etc. The radiator on the 2003 model was vertical, however on the new models it is horizontal like elise's.
