David Rodigan - not a usual fan

I'm sitting here with all the females in the house having gone to watch some weepy film at the pictures listening to David Rodigan on 1xtra really loud.
For some reason the fact that he had a show on there had passed me by. I've been listening to DR since the 70's and listen to a lot of really quite heavy reggae and especially dub. Been listening since his days at Capital way back when.
Now those that know me know how much I love this stuff but it really takes people back when they ask what are you listening to on the ubiquitous iPod. I can see that being a 53 year old white suburban chartered surveyor. I like that I don't fit the sterotype. Its not all I listen to mind, but I do like a bit of rub-a-dub stylee
So, would anyone be surprised if they heard what you were listening to?

People are always surprised at my music tastes.
White, 25 year old male who's lived in the countryside all his life and has almost exclusively white friends... and yet I love must stuff coming out of Jamaica and TnT; reggae, dancehall, jungle, soca, etc.
