What are these lines.

Hi Guys

Random stupid question. On the way home the other night I noticed these lines on the road near Oxford Airport. They are on both sides of the roads but not opposite each other.



Are they for the Red Light camera or the airport ? or some thing different ?





Iv been trying to work it out but run out of ideas.

Could be the start of a pelican or zebra crossing, then realised that it would run at an angle so stopped work?
