I have a local Trimmer coming to look at the job and am wanting some advice from those of you that have done the job.
looking at the back there are the two access lids the fuel tank one at the back and the differential one in the middle
I had planned to do an under carpet that was stuck down with a lift out over carpet that was edged and fitted in with poppers.
However that would mean peeling back the glued down carpet should we need to gain access I wonder how others have addressed this problem
I do like the finish on this clip on you tube rather hope we can achieve something close to this but really want easy access to the hatches

Any advice appreciated

wow, if you could get it like that would be fantastic...
apart from those big white TVR letters, they are a bit to much fro that classic me thinks.
although maybe when you do it like that but then also use black or alcantara/suede letters so black on black but both different materials...low profile but TVR could be fine.

Not a fan of this. Wrong carpets, too many fasteners on the panels, and those logos....crap!
Sorry,
D.

I agree David about the fasteners and the Logos not a fan myself in what way are the carpets themselves wrong I don't like the blanking off of the footwell space as that's a very useful storage space but will need access to the footwell vents when fitted anyway so have to think round that one

Hi Andrew,
Have you ever seen the interior done without panels on the side over the wheels?
One could glue insolation above the wheel well dressed with vinyl.
for the panel in the rear you could make it wider, covering the lights.
When you have to change the bulbs its easier excess.

Instead of screws you can also the details as foor the door carts.

Just thinking for a neat solution whiteout hurting originality too much.

Another thing. Has anybody ever fitted the safety belt on the B-post as standard used in modern cars?

Yes Hans have seen various options
The one I will do is the two small side panels at the back connected to the rear panel with hinges behind and brackets coming off the under the carpet screwed to the floor that way 6 screws and they all lift out together in one piece
No Idea about seat belts I just have lap belts in the Tuscan like to live Dangerously wink

Hopefully a diff hatch will not be needed often if ever???? If it's been a good re build job. The lights is the only important hatch unless you fit led bulbs then you may never go in there ????

Backpanel with hinges I do not understand but you will have a picture when the panels without the covers are ready?

Just a waste belt should be enough but doesn't feel nice in use.

And Richard,
Good advice for the panel to reach the weak Spit diff.
And the led light also.
Do you know an bulb that fits to the rear cluster?
