Just wondering if anyone here is doing the day at Silverstone next wednesday. I'll be there in a blue Clio 172.

I was there today in a green Cayman R, I had really good day and plenty of lovely cars to admire.

A good day was had by all. Well done to all drivers for good behaviour - only three reds the entire day I think. Managed about 7 laps on my slicks to scrub them in and went back to the Toyo R888s for when the rain arrived. Unfortunately I didn't manage to hit my lap time target in the end.

Chris.

Good day indeed.

Not sure if anyone saw the smoke pouring off my car while turning right. Luckily it turned out to be nothing major. Powersteering fluid was way overfilled and boiled, made a mess of the suspension etc and put an end to our time on track. Luckily it was ok to drive home on though.

Sorry about the position of the graphic - must move the camera before the first race!

I'd amputate that extra arm before your next track day.
I'd also recommend that distracting ballast is adequately muffled until the session is complete. wink

This is one of me chasing one of the track spec Mk3 MX5s. Unfortunately just after the video cuts his car started bellowing out blue smoke. I took that as a sign to come in myself as well.
