He's not liking these cold mornings being made to get up early from having a nice in the car park.

The indicated water temperature seems to either achieve operating temperature within a few minutes (a bit quicker than one would expect) or else it takes an absolute age.

When it's in "warm up fast mode" it's as likely as not to stall for no good reason (ie not me being a numptie with the clutch!!) but it always starts again, and when warm, it becomes its usual cheerful self. It hasn't ever looked like it is overheating.

The swirl pot is full, the filler bottle is half-full, there are no airlocks or leaks that I can see. Not had a chance to put a multimeter on stuff yet.

Can anyone suggest anything? I'm thinking that the coolant temperature sensor (ie the ECU turns off the cold start enrichment too early) or thermostat is acting up.

(And suggestions of who can send me these parts at short notice would be great too.)

Thanks!
