32-33 ftlb OTOMH for 3/8UNC?
Thanks Peter. You and Dave agree close. Will fit new hi torque 2Kw starter from London & Essex, Auto Electrics ltd. £104 inc vat and postage. Hope it works and its not cable from battery or the ignition switch. Gave the phantom click, click, click when trying to start after one big click. Will check the SH Bible on how to electrically check the solenoid on the old starter.

I feel I should point out that you may have your Dave's and Peter's crossed

Correct Peter. Just had some cheap wine from Aldi. Should have checked in between slurps, cheers. Both good guys. Keep it up. New 2Kw starter motor is a great success.
