I would say the car you are talking about would be worth around £70k as no others for sale and demand should be strong.
suspect 70k is a bit light for agreed valuation purposes (i paid high 70's for a lower miles car last October). as you say there is nothing on the market and going for stronger numbers on the continent, i'd bid 70k unseen if it was for sale ! i use Chubb agreed valuation but no trackday cover.

I think your car was the last car to be advertised on PH Classifieds. Maybe others change hands under the radar if at all?i use Chubb agreed valuation but no trackday cover.

Paragon sold one just after i bought mine that was never advertised, mid 70's but more miles. i believe some very low miles cars have gone for 6 figures, but that may be heresay.seawise said:

well I heard of one with 3k miles for 100 but as u say that could be hearsay .My plan is to look for agreed valuation of 75 for mine. With no cars for sale its tough to know where to pitch it.
hi all, im in the same position as the OP. Same car, same mileage, mint with orig paint.
I just re-insured with mannings to cover the two track days i will likely do this year. After reading this and possibly hype from other owners! i upped the cover to £80k (was only £60 for last 5 yrs) but to avoid any issues in the event of a payout, they have suggested an agreed valuation from an expert, so im guessing a specialist independant or porsche dealer (im guessing they will be no good at this).
Has anyone had this done recently, by whom and at what cost?
Thanks in advance
Matt

Gtr-drifter I've written to pcgb bad asked for a valuation as I'm a pcgb member so I'll let you know what they come back with. I have insurance with mannings on a lotus with full track day cover and I use my NCD on that car so I went elsewhere with the RS as they couldn't compete. I'm drawing a black with my current insurer so when my policy expires ill have to shift to mannings and pay up. I'm just hoping that pcgb give an accurate valuation of the car given the inability at mo of replacing one of these cars at realistic money. As I said ill keep you informed with what I get back

Interesting reading. Seems they finally are on the up after all the ramping by the owners for the last few years
They seem to be following the 964RS pattern - they are either being tracked by long term owners with no plans ever to sell or hoarded by collectors. Either way - the supply of good cars is minimal and prices are heading North. As expected.
