'Last unread' button?

Can there be a 'go to last unread post' button for each thread?

There's a grey 'last page' button but that means you have to scroll back to where you last read up to. If it could work in conjunction with bookmarks I think it would be very helpful.

I use an ipad, if that makes any difference.
