Wheel colour on a V8 Vantage - Light or dark?
Discussion
I have a full set including the centre caps of the Anthracite wheels.
I am biased in the North west if anyone wants to take a look and make me an offer.
They are all boxed and were of a 2008 roadster I replaced them with sportspack wheels in 2011.
Super condition but no tyres fitted.
I have now traded the car in so no longer require them.

I have a V8V in Mendip Blue 2 (see profile) I had the original alloys in silver, but changed to Sports Pack alloys in silver diamond cut.
However, I personally wouldn't go to dark alloys, but with your color car they could work, just personal preference really, lots of others have done this too.

I went for both...
I used a franchise of www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk in Bournemouth and they were great.
As they did not have a reference picture for my wheels, they explained that the finish comes out differently depending on shape of the spokes, they said that if I was not happy with the finish when all done and back on the car they would re-finish in a solid colour for free...
Not everyone's 'Cup of Tea' I know but I like them. ;-)

OP -These are anthracite (Snow Shadow Grey) wheels on a Titanio Grigio Ferarri body -a little darker than yours I think. I wouldn't have chosen them but bought the car like this and think they look great. (Though I dream of a set of sports pack wheels).
They do call attention to the tiniest scuffs as the metal shows through bright silver, BUT they are really easy to touch up, in contrast to silver ones.

I'm a big fan of contrasting wheels. Gunmetal on a light car, silver on a dark car. I've got Mercury Silver, which is a slightly dark grey, and just ordered a set of wheels in silver. I love gunmetal, I just think they'd blend in too much with the car's paint. I went with silver so they'd "pop".
