Well maybe I am the omen you have been waiting for, I last went in 2007 and it was hot, as was it in 2006, 2005 and 2004. I havent been since 2007 and since then the weather hasn't been that great, i'm now going this year so hopfully the sun will return.

According to:

www.completely/useless/inaccurate/weatherforecast....

It's not looking good from the Thursday morning all the way through to the Monday. Cold, wet and windy with dry, hot intervals. I may cancel the vinyl stickers I've just ordered....

Currently it's forecast for plagues of Frogs, Flies, Lice and Darkness.

That may just be the circuit toilets on Sunday morning though

Unfortunately I have skin that's as tannable (is there such a word) as butter so if I see the sun out of a window, I get burnt and go a "nice" shade of pink then whiter than I was before so if it is a scorcher I will be the bright pink guy walking around biggrin

First time I went it was a scorcher and it was annoying in the mornings as the tent turned into a sauna meaning you had to get up really early whether you liked it or not.
Also standing in the main stand for a couple of hours with no breeze and the sun full pelt was one of the most uncomfortable times of my life. It was still awesome though and better than rain.

In 2005 it must have been mid 30's. The Australians I was traveling with were complaining about the heat so it must have been bad! We found a standpipe in a campsite by the Porsche curves and we sat under it until we were soaked through. Within 30 minutes we were dry again! Lets hope for the same again in 2014!!

They're saying it's going to be hot in UK at end of May & didn't someone once say on here that whatever happens in UK a couple of weeks before repeats in Le Mans? Here's hoping smile

My first Le mans in 82 was a dry one then my second in 94 was Scorcheo.

There's been a lot of wet ones since!
