Immobiliser Sensor - Where is it?

Can anyone tell me where the immobilisor sensor is located - and more importantly, can it be turned off?

Do you know what make/model of immobiliser you have, do you not have a little socket on the steering column shroud with a flashing light on it?

It's a Gemini on a 93 L plate 5.0.

Yes, the LED on the dash is costantly on, and my key fob is not working (I have changed the battery, but it seems the sensor in the car is not working)...

I'm stuck at work - aarrgggh!

Try disconecting the battery for a few mins, it might reset the immobiliser so you can then disarm it. The later Meta immobilisers have a key so you can override it if it doesnt dissarm when unlocked, guess the gemini doesnt have one?.
