I've just taken my ally radiator out of the chim. It's leaking from the bottom corner.

I'm sure Simon told me that the ally core is crimped to the plastic end tanks and sealed with O rings.

Question is, can these be repaired?

If so, anywhere in the Surrey or South/West London area?

Or......anyone got a spare they want to sell?

"plastic end tanks" ? yikes
The bin Peter.
It's the only place for it IMO.
I could tell stories that would make you shudder.

I thought the same Goaty Bill...plastic end tanks???

What sort of radiator is in there...

You have that great engine you need a good radiator I would just bite the bullet and get a new one.

99.9% of cars on the road use ally cores and plastic end tanks confused and 8 out of 10 times its the core where it is crimped to the end tank that fails (rubber seal) and it usually gives plenty of warning wink plenty of cars on the road give this design more of a work out than a naturally aspirated RV8 can give it 5.5 or otherwise scratchchin In saying all of this I would be far happier with an all alloy construction personally getmecoat was it not one of the Turbo RV8 Chim brigade raving on about a good price he had got from Serck Marston for an alloy rad recently? scratchchin
