It's that of year again when my mobile phone provider is offering me a free upgrade. At present I have a Nokia 6310i, not the most exciting phone in the world. My problem is that my car is fitted with the Nokia MCC-1 car kit.

Therefore I'd prefer another Nokia that would fit my exsiting kit.Any sugesstions?

I don't know much about these, but a quick google shows that you can get a converter to work with newer nokia phones

You'll either need a converter or a new car kit.

Nokia have changed their car kits so that you can just simply change the cradle rather than the whole car kit with their new phones.

Get a Nokia 6230! (Superb phone)

You can also change the cradles on the old car kits too, but the cradles aren't avaialbe seperately from Nokia.
The new "pop Port" phones can indeed have their cradles switched around very easily.

The real problem is that there is no phone on the market today which matches the 6310i! If you want a phone to use as a phone its fantastic, stays charged for days, got decent sized button which are well seperated etc.

The replacements all have colour screens, cameras, etc. Why? I have a digital camera if necessary!
