Porsche serviced by HWM (shudder)

So I am abou tto finally take the plunge (after 5 years of prevaricating until child was bigger) and will be buying a 997 turbo
The car in question is low miles (28k on a 2008 car) and has had 3 services:
2010 11k OPC East London
2012 21k HWM
2014 27k RJA sports cars
I have heard of HWM only too well and cannot find RJA even on the web, so maybe a local indie.
Do HWM actually do servicing? They apparently did the major with belt check and plugs - I don't think it will put me off going through with purchase but I am not filled with confidence

I am amazed someone would take a car like that out of network at 4 years old. I can only imagine HWM "bought" it in need of a service and did it themselves. I wouldn't say don't touch it but I would say get a comprehensive PPI done. Good luck with the search - can be frustrating but can be the best bit!

Thanks, I am thinking of taking car but doing a Peter Morgan check. Or perhaps put it through a 101 with Porsche warranty.On the plus side, it is coming from a Bentley dealer and will have been prepped to their standards (eg min 3mm tyre depth) and come with a pretty decent 12 month warranty.
I don't see why discs and pads would necessarily need doing after 28k
And there aren't many 997 turbos to my spec, maybe 5 or 6 at my budget - and I am not being too fussy - manual, black leather, sports chrono. But I will wait if I have to!

I bought my 997 TT from HWM, knowing that it would never go back for a service or indeed anything, my cars been pretty faultless.
In 9 months i've done 20k miles, had a new water pump, Clutch Master Cyliner and Idler Pulley replaced under warranty (not by HWM)
Its just had a BIG service done by Prestige Autocare inc Plugs (almost an engine out job in itself!!) and Pads all round (PCCB)and had the front Wishbones replaced, the cars now better than when i had it originally thanks to Coster at PA...

Well I bit the bullet and very excited
As they say you buy the car not the dealer, I bought a car from HWM and it was good (so it should be it was barely a year old) and the dealer was not.
The car has been examined and passed fit for a pretty good warranty, and will be well prepped. Once in my ownership it will get properly pampered and after a few years I think the past history will be irrelevant given low mileage.
