Series 3 hard roof fit on a series 2a canvas

As the title explains. Looking to buy a series 2a with a canvas roof, is it pretty easy to put a series 3 hard roof on?

Apparently SIII roofs go straight on. I also have a SII and have been looking at SIII roofs

Easy but why? Much nicer with a full tilt.
