Long term car hire

Just doing some back of the fag packet calculations and wondered if anyone can recommend any companies that do long term (6 months+) car hire/lease in Spain?

Talk to locals or just buy a car at a local garage and agree a buy back figure maybe or just sell it privately when you leave.

Avis do a rental offer on a monthly basis which includes everything except fuel. When I did it back in 2006-ish time it was €450 a month which got be a Seat Leon 2.0 TDI.
