Hi There! I have bought my first car about 2 months ago now. A 2004 Toyota Corolla VVTI 1.4 Petrol. As it's my first car I don't have anything really to compare the way it drives to, I learnt in a 2013 Renault Clio Diesel which did handle quite differently.

Anyway I have found that The Corollas biting point is very high, it's how I bought the car and I am used to it, but after letting my girlfriend and mum take it around the block they have both commented on the seemingly strange very high biting point.

The actual car drives really well, is it anything to be cautious about? Are some cars just built with high biting points?

Thanks, Aaron.

The clutch should be adjustable and thus you can move the bite point with a ratchet screw behind the pedal. Otherwise it could just be parts wearing thin. I have seen this somewhere else before....
