I missed out on the Tony Gilbert Tamora so I am looking for another good one. Budget up to 17K.

Anyone looking to move one on?

This from a private ad may be worth a look - seems to have been very well looked after (although most have, I think)

And I do love that yellow one.....

Thanks. Yes it does look nice and well cared for. Shame that it's nearly £3K over my nominal budget. I could stretch a bit but that one's just too much money for me.

Thanks Chris. I have already PM'd the owner of that one. Seems like a genuine car and the engine rebuild is a major plus. But I don't think that it's the one for me.

Bob.

OK. the only other Tam within your price range is this (and excluding the Eindhoven based Tam - and I know that at least three in that list of eleven have already been sold, or have had deposits/offers already)

Am sure you could get it to £17k

But not sure what's going on the gear lever surround.....

There was a comment about that car on the other Tam thread - might be worth contacting whoever posted it.

Hi there

I have seen these 2 Tamora's for sale in the classifieds and was wondering if anyone on here had had a look at either of them?

They both fall within my budget, wondered what you thought about them?

Bob
Hi Bob and anyone who is interested. Do not touch the first car, not a great dealer and the car has some major issues which you will not see. I hate to be negative and would never speak out of turn. I am more than happy to share one of the more major issues.

The car with Tony seems to be a pretty good car and it doesn't have the Bison interior which is, as has been well discussed, a bit rubbish.

Happy Hunting. Sam

I have been on a few European trips with that car. Very well looked after - definitely worth a look at that price.

It looks a nice car but there's a reason it's cheaper - as stated in the dad it's been subject to an insurance claim...c or d? Doesn't bother everyone I know but does some and does affect value.

It's also had a head rebuild not an shine rebuild.

Wouldn't put me having a look though - Could still be a great car and worth every penny?

Just an insurance claim is fine - a CAT C or D would however affect value.
There are more than you'd think that have had bodywork of some form carried out.

Advert says "insurance recorded" which indicates Cat C/D
Top end rebuild by RND Engineering, with out opening a can of worms, i thought the Jury was still out on them?

The silver car in question belongs to me. The jury isn't out on RND as far as I am concerned. Sure, they took longer than agreed to do the work, but the finished article was well worth the wait. Mechanically the car is sorted, only slightly let down by the Bison interior. But it,s a bargain for somebody.
