Gentlemen of the photoshop

The time has come to get the original BBS Mahle 14'' wheels back on the E12.

However, as I am a bit of a dandy I'm considering something a bit, well, eccentric.

Gold.

However I'm just not sure if it'll work.

This is a profile shot of the car (not mine but identical, this is the BMW Mobile Tradition car).



Could anyone have a crack with their ninja photoshop skills?

I'm not wanting bonkers mental goldy gold, more a sort of half silver half gold gentle lovers colour Maybe something a bit like this:



I don't think the polished silver rim (fnar) is for me though, just a nice total gold bit of loveliness.

A virtual pint and possibly a cheeky reacharound for anyone who has the time, inclination and skills to assist.

Would probably work quite well in Muscat or Abu Dhabi.

Whilst those wheels would look good on some cars I don't think that they, or the originals sprayed gold or with gold centres, would look good on this car. The car already has a three colour stripe and the chrome window surrounds are balanced by the silver wheels. If anything I'd want the wheels to be highly polished to give a chrome effect.

THink this would work really well. Wrong colour paintwork (i think it works even better on darker colours), but you get the idea...
