As Aston Martin introduced that body shape with the 6 cylinder engine as the V8 wasn't ready, there are other cars that look the same and have the 6 cylinder engine. Perhaps this one has a V8 badge, but I thought Aston didn't badge for engine type.

Does it include the BS1 plate though? As it's not mentioned in the blurb, probably not. Which leaves you with an Aston DBS with a provenance you've got to explain.

i believe it does not, i think billy smart owned the actual plate, people have said that some of the time in the show it did not have BS1 on it anyway

Fans of The Persuaders! will recall that the car always wore the personalized registration plates "BS 1" (for Brett Sinclair). However there was one scene in the episode "The Gold Napoleon" when the production team forgot to switch the plates, thereby revealing the car's real-life registration number "PPP 6H".

20k? Its not a car of the proles like an interceptor. A decent DBS or DBS V8 should be 50k these days at least. One with provenance, condition cold eaily be worth 100k plus: a third of a Db5 these days...

What's a Bond DB5 worth these days? Nice DB5 x10? As far as I know, this is the only Persuaders car, whereas there are 3 or 4 Bond DB5's. My logic would value this at around 6 or 7 times a concourse DBS, so I can easily see how the lower estimate has been derived. Who knows what it could make on the day.
