Who SHOULDNT buy a convertible car?

I've always been of the impression that only certain people should buy soft tops. I've always felt that men of a certain disposition should avoid soft tops all together, unless they're a classic.

Men like me IE Mid 30's (christ, I'm 33 soon, thats middish isnt it?), over weight and lacking of hair on top of your head.

Would this be a fair assessment?

Also 33 is early 30's I am 37 and as much as it pains me, that is late 30's :-)

I am not young,thin, or have a head full of flowing locks..But,I also could not give a flying fk, what other people think, or say,on anything to do with my car purchases.
With this mind set,I have the ability to purchase any vehicle I can afford or desire..

Seriously? Car are not gender specific if you are comfortable in who you are.

Get the biggest flashiest convertible you can, young ladies will then talk to you at petrol stations.

This. I bought an S2000 at the age of 21 and loved it, I got a bit of crap from friends and colleagues etc who called it a girls car, ZZZZZZ.
