General Discussion

I would like to suggest a general section under the non-motoring area. This would allow people to talk about pretty much anything they wanted to, within the rules of course.

People tend to make use of General Gassing for this purpose. Not strict categorisation but on the whole it works quite well as there's a nice mix of motoring and non-motoring.

Is there any chance of a "General Gassing - Motoring" section then as questions such as my one about towing solutions fly off the front page within minutes thanks to the active discussion on breasts and vasectomies and there isn't a general motoring section. I know quite a few people don't even bother with the general gassing bit any more as there's not that much motoring content.

I tend to agree. I will trial a split of General Gassing and a non-motoring section to leave General Gassing open for motoring matters.
