Sky retention deals

Anyone experienced any good sky retention deals? Or virgin joining deals for that matter?

i rang them up, quoted the deal here that matched my current sub..

Managed to get phone line, evening and weekend calls, unlimited broadband and basic tv package for £30.58 per month after explaining that we only watch free to air channels so wanted to cancel the TV.
