Brake lights coming on when throttle floored?
Discussion
Managed to get a real good 2 hr drive in this morning before the weather turned, whilst out was joined by a mate in his car that mentioned that when I give it some the brake lights come on.
I remember Wyn (pwd95) saying about it when I was looking at his car - he may well be along shortly...
Anyway, I think it is something to do with the pedal box moving slightly when you floor it hard or something and there is a part you can bend out of the way I believe? probably the brake light switch I guess?
Anyone know how to sort it?
Seriously good drive this morning anyway!!!

Happened with my Dad's Chim when on the strip at Crail. Brakes flashing as it changed gear.
Had a look and the brake switch was only just making contact with the pedal arm causing it to flicker with, ahem, hefty throttle inputs.
No doubt repositioning something will do the trick but on the day I utilised a 20 pence coin stuck to the arm with some chewing gum to make the contact area bigger.
This was 8 years ago or so and it's still working :-)
