Porsche 997 Gen 1 C2 S value?

A friend, not me, is about to put his Porsche up for sale, only issue is we're not sure how to price it and what the market is like out there.

It's a Gen 1 but has had a brand new engine from Porsche a few years ago, this is the main reason we bought the car at the time, despite its high miles at 96k. Should we even mention this in the advert? Do buyers perceive this as a good or bad point?

The only things I can think are putting people off is the rear has been upgraded to Gen 2 LED's and the front hasn't, and it's on KW V3 coilovers. Other than that it's stock and the car runs fantastic.

Looking around, the lower mileage C2S in arctic silver seem to get snapped up quickly, especially in manual form.

Is it worth asking 911 Virgin if they'd be interested in the car, it's in fantastic condition.

We tried WBAC valuation which was £11k so that's useless. Is £23k over priced for this high miler with the KW's? I told him to put the stock suspension back on but the dampers were leaking so they were thrown away.

Any thoughts on value, it's an 05, 54 plate, 96k on the clock, C2S, manual, sports seats, black leather?

New engine from Porsche is as vulnerable as original. After market mods probably push price down.

Yeh, about 20k is right. A good indy might give you 18 and then retail at 23 with prep and warranty etc.

Of course, it depends on general condition, any faults and the level of wear on the usual items.

Thanks for the indicative pricing, it is closer to what I think it is worth as well.
