I am trying to get some idea of what my plate is worth. M4 ARK

I posted in the general gassing section and some of guys there were being helpful as usual. Thanks to one of them I thought maybe I should post here.

Have you requested valuations from the plethora of cherished plate companies on-line? At least you will have a starting point...

As for actual price, I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment - dateless plates are more expensive aren't they but with the significance of the name, who knows.

Edit: remember that the plates you see on other websites aren't necessarily 'worth' what they're priced at. Sellers can state the price they want for their plate and the advertised price will be adjusted accordingly to account for the selling company's fees etc. (this point applies to private sellers selling their numbers through such websites).

I have asked a few. I got replies from not interested, 1.5 k and all the way up to 30k!!

So despite asking around I have no real good idea. PH's seem to think its true value is 5-10k.

I do not know anything about BMW. The M4 thing popped up while doing searches. Maybe its not really relevant? I thought it worth asking here.... and so far no unhelpful comments :-)

Put it on eBay. 99p start. Then you'll find its true value.

Anything else is guesswork. It's worth what someone will pay (obviously)
