track tyres for wet

R888s in the rain are no fun, in fact downright dangerous!
Thinking of getting a second set of wheels to swap to if its wet.
question is: What tyre gives most grip in the wet?
If they have plenty of tread and there's no standing water as long as you can get heat into them, I think they are quite good personally.Thinking of getting a second set of wheels to swap to if its wet.

Standing water though, they are lethal.
A539s?

Need them to be road legal sadly
R888 soft compound with road type water dispersing tread would be ideal, shame they don't exist!
Michelin Pilot Super Sport or ADO8R both look ok but guessing no where near as soft?
I have Toyo R1-Rs on my daily MR2.

I have had no aquaplaning issues.
As one other above, suggest the Michelin Pilot Super Sports - got them on a GT3 RS and 458 Itallia and constantly rave about them. Find they are almost as good as the 595RSRs/ 888s in the dry and miles ahead in the wet. They don't go off either, something every other track day focused tyre I've had does after 15-20 minutes.
Price wise they aren't bad at all and you won't be disappointed despite the rather conventional looking tread pattern...
