Vaio RAM upgrade

I was thinking of upgrading my 256Mb RAM to 512Mb. I can buy the 256Mb gizmo for between £50-100.

Firstly is it it worthwhile in terms of performance upgrade and secondly is that price reasonable?

Is it possible to upgrade the graphics on my laptop? Can you replace the internal card or is it possible to get an external card?

I noticed in another thread someone was wanting to upgrade their Vaio hard drive capacity, is it easy to do this yourself?

Edited to add: When upgrade RAM do I have to stick with Sony or can I get it from another manufacturer? Bearing in mind that my current 256Mb is the RAM that came with it.

I got another 256MB Kingston Ram for my Vaio for under 60 quid from EBuyer and it has been perfect.
