Headlight for slk55

I need to replace the nearside headlight on my slk as it is scratched and the lense is not very clear.
Can you buy just the lense or do I need a complete unit?
I have seen a few complete units on ebay,mostly from America.

How bad is the scratch?

I recently used some meguiars scratch X to bring some lenses back to life which had gone a little opaque. A machine polish could sort it out as well.
