Insuring a Second car - Main car is a Company Car
Discussion
Evening all,
I currently have use of a company car for the next 3 years and am looking for a weekend/fun car to tinker with and potentially use on tracks/hillclimbs etc.
Looking at 172/Saxo/Puma and the like.
At the moment on the usual comparison sites I seem to be getting quotes of that i would expect for a 'main' car, but not one that would see very little relative use. 24 with 2 years no claims (have until Feb next year until these expire). I have selected 'use of another car - company car for private and business use' and reduced the miles per annum to around 3000.
Any tips or avenues I can look at for getting the price down? Not sure any of the cars I am considering would fall under classic status.
Thanks.

In the past i ve used Adrian Flux, limited the mileage and make sure they are aware its social only.. Had things like 106 Rallyes no issue. Just moved to Footman James and very happy with both the quote and the service.
On something like a 172 I guess its going to be £3-400 assuming your not 17.
