Beige Beemer

I don't really know why I bought it, its a 2.0 auto and its Beige, but it has had only 2 owners before me, one of them for 20 years, and serviced main dealer til 2004. Receipts for everything up to 2013.



It will probably get moved on, but I am enjoying hooning the poor old guys Pride and joy about without much consideration for it.

Needs a replacement NS front fog. Looks good to me, though I find sunroofs more trouble than they're worth.

A former colleague had an E28 520i that had one previous, fastidious elderly owner. If there was staff around the entrance or outside the local BMW dealership they used to wave at him as he drove past.

Its just funny really, I'm in my 20's driving that.

I am looking to get rid of it, possibly for an e36 convertible in nicer colour.

That fog light is badly nicotine stained I admit.

I didn't pay very much for it, I feel a little odd liking it and hating it at the same time.

The fuel consumption is AWFUL, much worse than my manual e46 330i which I had before.

It looks good to me. How does it compare to the E46 is size when driving it? E36s look dinky these days with cars getting ever larger with each model revision since then.

It feels slightly smaller and narrower, which to be honest in town traffic isn't a bad thing.

It feels physically lighter, not sure how much it is.

It does feel solid built, but I wouldn't like to crash it.
