From what I know from someone I know who declined to do a job on the car, it had a rust issue. The price reflected this.

Wheeler Dealers, bit of a fake programme! If they factored in labour costs, they'd loose on every car they fix. What I am disappointed in is mechanic Edds casual approch to cleanliness (not the personal that is). He quite happily strips things down, and never seems to clean any of the old bits. When he's doing a suspension joint replacement for example, I never see a wire brush go anywhere near the old bits to clean up before the new gets replaced. I'd whip the whole lot off, a quick sand blast in the blaster, slap on some hammerite, and it'd look like new.

I noticed the rot at the bottom of the A pillar next to the front screen. Was this the issue (that I never saw addressed on the programme) or something more sinister?
