Hello,

I've been given the green light to get some wireless multi room audio equipment. I don't really know too much about it, but I think my plan is to buy bit by bit and start off with 3 speakers, I was looking as the Sonos Play 1 and Jongo S3's. I've a 1968 bang and olufson stereo which I'll refurbish and dig out soon and dust off some vinyl, but largely the music will be coming from my phone.

Are there any decent alternatives to Sonos? Is the Jongo worth a look?

Thanks!

I went Sonos but can't comment vs jongos. Personally I love the sonos system for its ease of use, etc

If you do go Sonos - VEX was running a group buy offering a small discount off of retail (if you've researched Sonos you'll know its hard to get any sort of discount).

It might still be running - see the other thread about sonos in this forum if you're interested?

still no real alternatives to the Sonos if you want to use the full flexibility.
other ecosystems don't do -
- multiroom contol from multiple devices (onlt 1 device at a time)
- as many streaming services
- multi room different music (they tend to do 1 room or all rooms playing the same)
- NAS connection

but if you don't want any of this there are several ecosystms
- jongo
- cambridge audio minx
- bose
- B & W
