Can you retrofit sat nav to the latest Mondeo?

As the title says really. There are very few Mondeos specced with sat nav and that means compromising if you buy used. Can you just pull the stereo out and lob in the sat nav unit or is it more involved than that? Cheers

its a little more involved (unless you use the naff low line sat nav)

The big screen version has a different centre of the dash, the climate controls are built in etc. It would probably be easier to buy an aftermarket unit and fit. Zenec and Pioneer do direct fit versions that do not require an adaptor

I've been looking at this and pondering if one of these is any good.

Very cheap. Could be worth a punt and if they aren't any good bung the,pm back on eBay?
