I need some info on injection systems for v dub engines and how to restart them after they have been standing for 8 years

What engine is it?
If an engine has been stood for quite some time I typically pull the plugs out (glow or spark), turn it by hand, change the oil, fresh fuel flushed through the system, fully charged battery and turn it over till oil pressure builds, then refit plugs and give it a go...

Any engine in particular ?

depending on storage....all it likely needs is check fluids, fresh petrol. And crank it over a few times with fuel/sparks disabled to get some oil around it before actually starting.
