Interesting read. I've kept a close eye on Chimaera values over the last few months while deciding whether or not to get mine resprayed etc. Well, why not? Modern cars are so dull...

Griffs still on the rise, happy days.

Good to see prices in general for TVRs on the rise especially chimps which were a bit undervalued a few years back IMO. Hopefully we should start to see less cars with minor damage being written off by insurance companies.

The prices of the classics also seem to be rising.

It would be interesting to see how those figures are arrived at... I've not been watching prices closely but looks 'optimistic' to me.

I assume the prices he used were the asking prices and as such they will almost certainly not be the prices that they actually sold for - so could assume prices actually achieved are a bit lower. However assuming he did the same thing last time the % increase could be about right. Interesting stuff though.

Nice article...although how much store can be put in the calcs he's done is open to question. Still, good news on the face of it...

Be very interesting to know the the actual selling prices, but thats probably impossible to find out. Still a good effort though.

Quite surprised to see minus figures for the Tamora. Just looking at the sales on here regularly they've held value well and probably even gone up slightly.

Still a lot more than I paid for my mk2 Tam.
