Always amazed at the value they fetch compared to a V8 Wedge. What goes on?

This government takes the biscuit...In fact they always have when it comes to car owners/Drivers...Thing that makes me laugh is they are trying to get us ALL in tiny low emission shyte boxes that have no road tax penalty...Ok lets say we all conform to their small mindedness..How long before they start taxing the small low emission shyte boxes?...A year...Im sorry but communism never has and never will work in this country!...So kindly leave us gas guzzlers alone...How about putting some of our money that goes to shyte countries back into ours?..They could start with the bloody potholes...Ziga

The trouble with people in this country is that they accept everything the government dishes out. If more people were to speak out and do something about it, these stupid ideas would fall through.

What are the V8S like?

This might be the wrong forum to ask this!

I used to own a 2.9S which is very similar to the V8 but without the V8 engine. I didn't like it at all. It wasn't what I thought It'd be. The bonnet kept popping open every time I hit a pot hole and no matter how I adjusted it you either couldn't open it or it would open of it's own accord. It was small and claustrophobic inside and just wasn't the car for me. However, mine was a 2.9 and underpowered. With a V8 under the bonnet, I'd imagine it'd be pretty nippy.

Appreciate this is the Wedge forum, but seriously boys - I thought you were TVR fans.

The V8S offers the softer more classical looks, but with the RV8 soundtrack. They're more lively than the Chimaera and good fun to drive - but a very different feel to the big Wedges.

The S and the Wedges are very different ownership propositions despite the same badge on the front.

Could you take a V8S chassis and stick a Wedge body on it? Just wondering....

With the prices V8S's are now commanding surely an S body on a Wedge chassis would make more sense ?

Of course you would have to cure the bonnet popping open issues smile
