well, Ill try to be civil about this next bit then...
words fail me..
This fella has bought a car with his own money, mechanically refurbished it to what looks like better than new condition, and put another body onto it.
he has added value to it as a 'thing' and even dare I say it Improved the car.
and the wedgers here slate him for it, Im assuming because he has 'ruined' a wedge!
GET A LIFE!
The parts he didnt use have been sold on to wedgers to help keep their own cars on the road, at budget prices.
and if he sells it and makes a profit at the expense of a wedge shaped car the so be it, but its not a very big step from what some on here do anyway, buying a car at a price, 'adding value' and then selling it on as 'the best TVR Ive ever owned'
Life really is too short.
Im off to cut the roof off of my 1 0f 6, rarer than a SEAC 2+2. BECAUSE I CAN!

I tend to agree. We all know it was a rare car and it's sad it's gone. But as Kev told me when I went to see him this time last year. The car was up for sale for a considerable time with no takers. It could have been left to rot or it could have been broken for spares if a buyer wasn't found. Who knows.
Kevs a great Guy and from the look of the pics has done a great job. I know for a fact he did some really fare deals on some of the parts to fellow wedgers.
I will be more than happy to meet up with him for a blast this year. Just doubt my 350 will keep up with that curvey Monster

Each to their own I love his car but certainly won't be making my Wedge all curvey.
I think its a stunning creation...Isn't it called a TVR Sebring?...I always thought Sebring was a British sports car company that concentrated on the distinctive and unique rather than the boring and waste of space...Im looking forward to seeing it at the fest..As Stu say's its not like the rest if the car was thrown away!..A lot of time, Money and effort has gone into it which shows just how passionate the man really is..Ok it was once a Wedge...But the foundations are still TVR...Well done i say....

Make your mind up Zigmeister, one minute you are grizzling about wedges being destroyed to build kit cobras, next thing you applaud them. Shame on you!!

Its still over 50% TVR ...Most of the Wedges this happens to the people that do it don't even bother showing what they have sacrificed it for...I like it...If TVR's new owner decided to make something like it would people moan then...Probably...
There's a link here to some of the work he did. Very impressive. I did cringe a bit last night when I saw some of the replies to his posting.

Thanks mate, I remember it now, in fact I commented on it asking a question about converting a wedge into a cobra, feel bad now, he went into detail in a response, I never so the response!http://www.porkers.co.uk/topic.asp?t=1239773&f...
I like it, and don't see a problem with what he has done, if I thought I could convert my wedge into a cobra, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
