Lunchtime work out - food advice
Discussion
Over the years I have managed to lose over 6 stone. I was properly properly huge.. Basically I came to a point where I was in complete denial about my size so I finally shifted off my arse and started the long hard slog.
I got down but then I moved out of home & in with the OH and promptly put about 3 stone back on. Lost it again but now it's creeping back.
I'm determined not to give up so I've joined the gym literally 1 minute from my office.
From what I have achieved in the past I know roughly what I'll be doing (cardio mixed in with a little bit of weights etc) but my question is what should I eat beforehand? In the warmer weather, I'm a salad girl but I don't really fancy hoofing a box of salad before I work out but I don't want to go there with nothing in the stores either. Banana? Apple? I usually eat breakfast (Weetabix or Special K etc) at about 6:30am and I take the 12-1 lunch slot so I'm usually starved by my lunch break.
Also in my salads I usually miss having a bit of... bulk to it so I have been just slotting in 30g of spaghetti but I'm always seeing people saying "I dropped loads when I cut carbs" but I know I'd be left lacking.. That little bit of carb isn't a bad thing is it?

Work out fasted. Ideally leave carbs till the evening but a small amount of pasta at lunch isn't the end of the world if overall calories are in check.
Ditch the cereal in the morning, that is why you feel starved at lunch. Either eat nothing or eat something with protein and less sugar.
