Right, so here is a tricky one.

Am coming back to the UK this summer and want to use my 94 Lancia Integrale EVO 2. As I have kids I will need a roofrack to put all the junk in one of those pods on the roof.

So...anyone know where I can get a roofrack which will fit the gutter rails?

I tried a few places and they don't do them.

Cheers
Luke

I don't know how much different the gutters are on the Evo 2 but I used a Thule rack on my 8v integrale, worked well. Can't remember the number of the foot pack but you'd find it on their site.

I think you will struggle because to roof gutters on the Evo 2 are 'streamlined' and fit nice and flush to the roof so there's no where for roof bars/rack to grip to and no channel for them to fit into like the Evo 1. You could fit one that grips around the tailgate, I've seen that done before. Very impractical though.....

Pretty sure the gutters on Evo1 and Evo2 are the same only difference is they`re colour coded on the Evo2

Yes, the EVO 1 and EVO 2 are completely different. Can see this clearly in the attached. Plus I spoke to Tanc Barett and Walkers and they said the "Runners" on the EVO 2 are Aluminium and you cant get them anymore...so to be careful with them. Apparently you can remove them though.

Apparently Lancia did sell a Roofrack for the EVO 2 as an option from new, however they are "Rare as Rocking Horse st"

So, trying my local Halfords/Thule to see if they can fit anything. Want to use the car this summer with the family, just need a little more room. That mini boot aint enough to get our "Summer" luggage in.

Open to any ideas, thoughts on a postcard/here!

Hire a Volvo for the wife to drive & meet her and the luggage at your destination.

Jollyclub....take it you haven't got kids then! : )

In my dreams that would be a lovely thought, however the chances of me lumping a 3 year and a 1 year old with my wife so she can navigate the A303 down to Cornwall on her tod in traffic and with far too many "Volvo" drivers on the road, are zero. Maybe in another life.

Where there's a will there's a way as they say. I am sure something will come up. I am surprised they aren't out there somewhere, what with the 4 wheel drive. Surely some rando Europeans used to use them for Skiing up through the mountains and needed a rack.
