Since I got my car the engine has felt like it produces too much vibration. It is enough to slightly blur the view out the rear view mirror when on the motorway, and the pedals, particularly the clutch, feel 'buzzy' when you touch them with your foot. I had a car with the exact same engine in (Toyota 4 cylinder -3sGTE) before this one and it didn't feel lik this at all.

This isn't a rev specific thing or a misfire or anything, it almost feels like the flywheel is slightly inbalanced. Has anyone heard of this happening?

I know it had a clutch change shortly before I bought it and was wondering if something could have been fitted wrongly. I've never changed a clutch myself but is there a part of a clutch kit that bolts to the flywheel and is constantly rotating with the engine, that could be out of balance?

Could be the clutch but more likely to be engine mount needing a new bush or replacement.

Poor quality pressure plate or faulty or could be some Jap vehicles have an index mark on the flywheel that must correspond to a similar mark on the pressure plate (balance reference marks) wink

If the clutch 'feel' starts to change I'd get it back to the clutch centre pronto just in case somethings not been tightened up correctly.
