Just out of interest, has anybody else had a problem with the LRDs on the front, around the headlamp failing. Like an idiot I assumed a failed connection or controller. NO !! Sealed headlamp assembly so replaced in total. Over a £k's worth. My V12 Vantage car towards the 5 year mark.

been quite a few reported on the forum, it is a warranty issue if you have warranty.

needs a redesign I think!

Yes it's crazy, one LED out- not the whole band just one- and new headlight unit required, fortunately mine was under warranty.

I've also repaired one however mine was not a PCB it was a failed LED strip (albeit I originally thought it was the former). The unit is sealed in the sense it has glue on it, just cut round the seal and you'll be able to open the unit up and take it from there.

Astonmartinbits.com will give you a new PCB or new LED strip even cheaper than having it repaired.

Thanks for the info troops. Luckily the car had a year warranty from the dealership so no tears. Like to know how many get a saw out to cut open units!!

Mine V8VR (10.75) also has a broken led strip. Front left on a LHD. The complete unit will be replaced under warranty.

How likely the other one will fail soon, too? Any experience on this?
