Unidentified car.

Last night I was driving home from Manchester towards Chester on the M56, it was about 1900, dark and very wet with lots of spray.
As I was approaching Manchester airport a car came up behind me, not aggressively and we made progress in the outside lane passing traffic. The lights looked very Audi with loads of LED's and once I'd passed the traffic I moved into the middle lane.
The car overtook me and appeared to be a car I had never seen before.......? It was about Mondeo size and had an oval badge on the rear. It had very stylish rear LED lights and I assumed it was a new Mondeo not yet on the market. It was on a '14 plate. I got close to the car again as the outside lane slowed down and could see the the oval badge contained what looked like the letters 'MTA' in the badge and no other markings. It was in white with what looked like a carbon roof. 4 door hatch and like I've said, Mondeo sized.
I have tried 'google' searches and can find nothing under 'MTA' cars.
It was a cracking looking thing and I was wondering if anyone else has seen one or similar?

Loads of these about in R.O.Korea (Unsurprisingly) when I was there 18 months ago.
Didn’t drive but have been in one as a passenger, thought it was quite nice.
Korean cars for the Korean market at least, are all about the size of the car - its a status thing. Engine really isnt important, as long as the car is big and moves.
Hardly any sports cars sold, almost all SUV / 4 Door saloons. The bigger the better.
Due to this and the lack of competition Kia and Hyundai have been able to get away with not really thinking too hard about engine options. (Although with some exceptions, US export versions sometimes get better engine options). Given the standard of driving in ROK, it’s probably for the best
Hopefully they’ll gain some European sales with their current range and add some more UK focussed options!

That does look nice, KIA seem to have come a long way since those old Prides and Rios.Is it me or do the front wheels look bigger than the rears?
