I want 50bhp more...(500) What's the next step?

Hey guys
Just after a little feedback of what the next logical upgrades would be?
I am currently running roughly 457bhp according to the map I was given with the vehicle (JetStream tuned)
So I believe its got larger intercooler, independent oil coiling system, T28 turbo's and essentially the M400 upgrade.
What's the next list of items to look at without it becoming un-drivable?
Who on here is running about 500bhp?

Probably valve springs/rods upgraded and the timing modification, then remap possibly with bigger injectors.
I assume you have an upgraded duel exhaust system.

Are injectors not a must at this stage then?
I tried to read the previous injectors thread but got to technical for me.
Well to get from 480 to 550(then eventually 600) a couple years back I had to upgrade from the standard M400 injectors, so I'm guessing your 3/3R injectors will be close to their max at 450.

With those upgrades you could prob see 5-520bhp if the clutch will take it, but for that little lot you'll be the guts of £2.5k ish

hard to advise without the existing spec....
Realistically Valve springs should already be done as you struggle to get much beyond 400bhp without them so check with jetstream, you should already have an upgraded clutch as thats needed for 450bhp isn, and this is also the limit for stock injectors.
the stock cast pistons are questionable at 500bhp and id be looking to fit forged ones for reliability, leave rods as they are as you can see 600bhp with them so longer ones are needed, stock cams will be fine for you (and can see 550bhp) as will your turbo's (unless they are genuine M400 T28's which won't make 500bhp without upgrading!).

Thanks for the advice.
Its always good to get a few more points of view about what people would upgrade who have already been there and done it. I will speak with JetStream next week about it as its something I do want to do. If I could it for just 2.5k I would be very pleased. I was expecting more.

Depends on how it's mapped but it will prob need gearbox done. Which is another £2000 I think.
Unless you done the upgrades yourself JP, don't assume anything until it's been checked, get it checked out but sounds like it's had the universal turbos treatment and a remap maybe with bigger injectors.
