Should be posting a clients profit and loss statement but car insurance is bothering me. Hoping you chaps can help.

Passed 4 years ago, have 4 years NCB.

In February, while stationary in Waitrose, a women in a Rover Beige whatever the hell it was drove in the side of my car. Her fault intierly. Her insurance paid out etc.

Fairly badly want a 370z, however insurance is holding me back. Cheapest quote is £712 which is good considering I'm 21 and I'd be more than happy to pay that. If I tell them about the accident however, cheapest quote goes up to £1400+. punch

Anyone know of any insurance companies that aren't stupid and won't basically double the price of cover becasue of a non fault accident resulting in really rather minimal damage?

Any suggestions apprechiated.

Thanks fella's

Have DMed OP. Sounds like the original quote you had was VERY competitive, but happy to see if we can help.

Thanks,

Try telephoning 5 of the cheapest quotes (£700+), mention the no-fault collision, and see if they have any wiggleroom.

Negotiate politely and calmly. They hate stressy customers.

Online sites are fairly one-dimensional. Best to do it over the phone and fish around.

If that doesn't work, try Adrian Flux and specialists alike.

If they are all pricey, you'll just have to suck it up. 1400 quid for a fast'ish car in yer 20s is not the end of the world.
